The Islington Time Bank Network was officially launched in November 2004 and includes the Hilldrop & Cally Time Bank which is one of four in the borough.
Time banks are being set up across the country to give individuals a chance to contribute to their local areas and be rewarded in practical ways. Along with a sense of belonging and a feeling of being valued, time bank partners become trusted and valued members of the local community.
